Irish Life Health National Inter/Master Juvenile B & Relays XC

Well done to our athletes who traveled over to Rathdrum, Co.Wicklow to compete in The  National Inter/Master Juv B & Relays XC during the weekend.

Colm Turner came 6th in the Intermediate men category.

Emma Robertson came 25th out 135 athletes in the Girls U11. Emma was also part of the Girls U11 Limerick County team which they came 3rd overall.

Donating to Milford Care Center

Mark Guerin, team captain of Limerick AC, today presented a cheque for €1700 to Milford Care Center. The money was raised by senior athletes from Limerick AC over the Christmas period. Joining Mark at the presentation was Paul Fitzgerald, Martin Doody and Mike Lynch from Limerick AC and Anne Marie Hayes, Fundraising Co-ordinator for Milford Care Centre.

Speaking after the presentation, Paul Fitzgerald of LAC said “We are delighted to have raised €1700 for Milford Care Center, we would like to sincerely thank all those who donated to this great cause and we look forward to supporting Milford next Christmas”

Tom Walsh Memorial 10K

Well done to our athletes who ran the Tom Walsh Memorial 10K yesterday in Caherconlish. The first road race of the year was held with perfect weather conditions. A very well organised race on a challenging route. Paul Fitzgerald lead the way for LAC with an impressive 33:58!.
