Michael Carmody comfortably won Munster Senior Cross Country Title from James McCarthy East Cork and Michael Shannon of Clare at Beaufort , Co. Kerry on Sun. 15th. January 2012. In the Club Team Event Limerick AC finished 4th. and Limerick County also finished 4th. in Inter County Competition . Martin Doody was 11th. Ruari O Donnell 31st. Dave Beary 39th. Ray McInerney 46th. Vinny O Brien 47th. & Pius McGrath 48th.
In Juvenile Inter County Cross Country Relays – Limerick County Teams finished as follows :
U10 Boys – 5th.
U10 Girls – 1st.
U12 Girls – 2nd.
U12 Boys – 4th.
U14 Girls – 4th.
U14 Boys – 4th.
Congrats to Rachel Hosey who was on the Silver Winning Limerick Team in U12 Girls .
