IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Munster Juvenile Uneven Age & Senior Cross Country Championships Sunday 12th November – Numbers can be collected at the venue near the finish line (as marked on map). Traffic stewards will be present in Galbally village during the day to direct traffic & notify everyone of parking options. Buses will be able to park in the rugby pitch. Mooreabbey Milers A.C. request that all competitors and spectators follow the directions of the stewards on duty. First race (Girls U/9) starts at 11.30am. There are over 200 athletes in some of the younger age groups so please ensure that you leave plenty of time to get to the venue.

Directions to Galbally:

From Limerick: Option A (through Caherconlish/Hospital):Take the Tipperary Road (N24) leaving Limerick. 6km from the last roundabout after leaving Limerick, turn right onto the R513. Follow this road for 27km, passing through Caherconlish, Hospital, Knocklong and Garryspillane. After Garryspillane Dairygold Co-op, take a slight left. Galbally is approximately 5km from this junction.Option B (Tipperary Town):Take the N24 to Tipperary Town. At Bohercrow Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Limerick Rd/N24Continue to follow N24 for 1.1km. As you enter the Main Street, the main road turns to the left. At this point, turn right onto O’Brien St/R515. After 300m, take a left at the fork in the road and follow the R662 to Galbally. Galbally is approximately 15km from Tipperary Town.

From Waterford/Clonmel:Follow the N24 to the village of Bansha, situated between Tipperary Town and Cahir. Take a left in the village of Bansha. After 500m, at a fork in the road, take the road to the right. Follow this road for approximately 19km passing through the village of Lisvernane on route to Galbally.

From Cork/Mitchelstown:At the Firgrove Hotel Roundabout, head northwest on Limerick Rd/R513. After 10km, take a right onto the R662. After 5km, enter the village of Galbally.

From Newcastlewest:Take the R520, then the R518 to Rourkes Cross. Cross the main N20 (cork-Limerick Road) following the r518 to Bruree, then Kilmallock. From Kilmallock, follow the R515 through Elton Village to Knocklong. Turn right onto the R513 travelling through the village of Garryspillane. After Garryspillane Dairygold Co-op, take a slight left. Galbally is approximately 5km from this junction.
