An enjoyable day was had by Limerick A.C athletes who took the trip up to the Open day in Ennis.

Abby Yelverton taking 3rd in the 300m.

Roise Gavan 1st and Ciara Flaherty 3rd in Long jump.

Abby taking 2nd in the 60m.

Roise 2nd and Ciara 3rd in 60m.

Our very shy Under 10’s relay team taking Gold.

Sean Mc Hugo took Silver in the 600m.

Makayla Ryan – Wade took Silver in the 800m.

A special mention goes to our youngest athletes of the day, Eric Ryan-Wade(Eggy) who took on the toddlers 60m and came 3rd and little Moya Yelverton who took 2nd place in the U8’s .

CHEETAHS AND PANTHERS WILL NOT BE GOING AHEAD THIS SAT. 28th, due to the Munster Juvenile Championships and Leaders Course that are on the same morning. Training will be back to normal on Sat. the 4th.

Christian O’ Connell took on the Munster School’s Track and Field on Saturday 21st, in Waterford I.T. and representing John the Baptist C.C., took home a well earned Gold medal in the Javelin with a throw of 44.54. Considering that less than a year ago, Christian had never even held a javelin and to come away with gold only proves that hard work,determination and belief does pay off….. Great job Christian!!!
