Due to the very sad news of the unexpected passing of our club coach Deirdre Broderick all training will be cancelled this week.
U10 All Ireland Champions !!!
Congratulations to Leagh Moloney and Yanna Leahy who won the U10 Long Jump Pairs competition at Glo health All Ireland championships in Tullamore Today, Sat 27th June. Their combined total of 7:13m included a PB of 3:73m from Leagh which bettered her Munster Record Indoor jump of 3:71m from March. Yanna jumped 3:40m today an impressive leap from a 9 year old in any circumstances and showed great temperament to be able to pull it off on the big day.
Training is cancelled for the Juniors training group this Saturday 13th June due to the Munster T&F Championships in Waterford.
Please see below link to entries for the Munster Outdoors in Waterford on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June. Competition each day starts at 11am, so plan to be there at 10:15am to check in.
All Athletes are requested to check the list of Limerick AC entries to see what event(s) your athlete is entered in, the date of the event is listed beside the event or the timesheet also attached for the running order.
Word of caution here is that the order can sometimes get swapped around, so leave plenty of time to arrive.
