The Glohealth All Ireland Schools Track & Field championships 2015 took place today 30th May at the Tullamore Harriers Stadium

After battling it out at local and regional level, the best of Irish schools’ athletics talent compete at the GloHealth All Ireland Schools Track & Field Championships this Saturday, and Limerick AC athlete          Sean Harris (CBS Colaiste Mhicil) was representing his school in the Long Jump. Sean jumped a fantastic 5.55m and was just short of medals and also just shy of his PB 5.77.

Memories and stories of old cast a magic spell on patrons at the Limerick AC Reunion 2015

With security tighter than Prince Charles visit to Ireland around the Greenhills Hotel last Saturday night famous faces of past club members were everywhere to be seen.  As patrons circulated in the function room they were greeted by exalted club members; Ronnie Long Chairman, Tim Crowe President and Tom Foley Vice-President all looking exceptionally smart in their new suits. The crowd grew to over 120 souls and the function room started to buzz and I knew it was going to be a great night.

Some of our youngest athletes competed in the Munster Relay championships over the weekend.

A super well done to our U10, U11 and  U12 Girls who flew the LAC flag at the Munster relay championships in Ennis on Saturday.

In very strong competition our U10 and U11 Girls finished in strong 5th place and our U12 Girls finished in 9th. Well done Girls!
