The Munster Juvenile Even Age, U/23 & Novice Cross Country Championships was held today Sunday 26th October 2014 in the Turnpike, Two Mile Boris, Co. Tipperary. 

Congratulations to  Rachel Hosey who ran a super race today finishing 2nd in the Girls U14 3000m in the today. This is the first time in years that we had a top 3 finish in the Juvenile cross country – a great achievement for Rachel.   Luke Hession finished a super 12th in the boys U10 1000m. Emer Ryan led home the LAC Girls U/12 in the 2000m and Paul Fitzgerald lead home the novice men.  In the girls U10 1000m Ellen Hosey lead home the girls team and Cillian Lynch was our sole representative in the Boys U12.

Well done to all the athletes below who represented LAC today and to all those who ran for their respective teams.

We are all very excited about the upcoming Limerick Women’s Mini Marathon. It is going to be a great day at the University of Limerick on Sunday. Please come out and support all the ladies taking part.

 Now in its 18th year the Limerick Women’s Mini Marathon will take place on Sunday 26th October 2014 at 2pm.
 A highlight of the Limerick Events Calendar year, the Women’s Mini Marathon brings women of all ages together for an active day out in one of Limerick’s landmarks.

▪ Join over 3000 women for this 8km course that takes place around the grounds of the University of Limerick and its beautiful surrounding area.

▪ The registration (race pack collection) will take place at the University Arena on Saturday 25th October from 12-6 and Sunday 26th from 10am.
